Double header at Sam Nujoma Stadium

The MTC/NPL premiership double header has been lined up at Sam Nujoma Stadium tonight when Black Africa clash with Blue Waters in an early kick-off followed by African Stars against Eleven Arrows encounter.
It won’t be an easy game for Blue Waters who will be playing against a title-chasing team.
Blue Waters drew 3-3 in their match last week against Young Brazilians and won 1-0 against Civics.
Despite going into this game as underdogs Coach Christy Guruseb said he is confident they are going to get the results.
“I know in the second leg there’s no easy game; the pressure will be on the opponents who are in the title race. For us we believe we are going to deliver,” the coach said.
Blue Waters have recorded four wins in the premier league this season, beating Civics 4-2 and also winning against Orlando Pirates.
They are 13th on the log standings above Civics and log trailer Orlando Pirates who have so far only recorded a single win in this year’s premier league.
Black Africa who are currently sitting on top of the standings will also be looking to extend their winning run. Losing a game last week was a setback, which could lead second placed African Stars to close the gap.
Coach Paulus Shipanga told The Patriot sport early this week that tonight’s game is a must win game.
“It’s a must win game, we need to win and score first and also be cleaning. Last week’s game against Okahandja United was one of those games where players need to realise everything can happen in football. It’s a learning curve for the players.
Coach Shipanga also hinted that his side could have a bit of a change as he wish to rest other players.
“We are actually making changes on Friday, we will be resting some of the player” said Shipanga
Meanwhile African Stars will look to closing the gap against Black Africa when they lock horns against Eleven Arrows later at the same venue in a potential tie that could produce exciting results.
