AB InBev Namibia, through its ‘Better World’ strategy and Trust Foundations, envisions a world where everyone within the communities in which AB InBev operates, has the opportunity to have an improved standard of living.
On Friday, 05 April 2019, AB InBev Namibia through its //Kharas Region Trust, donated winter items worth a quarter of a Million Namibian Dollars (N$250,000.00) to selected old age homes in the //Kharas region, specifically in, Keetmanshoop, Luderitz and Karasburg. The items which included mattresses, blankets and pillows were distributed to five (5) old age homes.
With the winter season fast approaching, the donation by AB InBev Namibia was very timely and will go a long way to cater to some of the immediate needs of the under privileged and elderly people living in the old age homes in the region.

“Today we realize the fruit of many hours of planning and preparation, and as a company we are delighted to partner with government to bring about real tangible change in the lives of our citizenry” she remarked.
Commenting on the need for continued Public Private Partnership engagement and support, the Mayor of Keetmanshoop, Her Worship Mrs.
Gaudentia Krohne thanked AB InBev Namibia for their significant contribution towards the welfare of the people of //Kharas Region and called on other stakeholders to emulate the example of AB InBev Namibia, to engage with government and work towards the building of stronger and healthier communities and thus a stronger nation.
