Standard Bank launched its exclusive Lounge Access program for clients who are holders of the prestigious MasterCard with Standard Bank. In what can be described a fitting brand alignment, MasterCards have been a trusted partner for thousands when traveling for work or pleasure, or even when making everyday purchases.
In a speech delivered by Hendrik Du Plessis, the bank recognises the need that customers have beyond the facilitation of payments. “ This is the reason why we have developed, together with our Partners MasterCard, lounge access for our Prestige and Private Bank customers through the Lounge Key program,” says du Plessis.
LoungeKey is an Airport Lounge program that allows entry into over 800 airport lounges simply by presenting your Standard Bank Prestige or Private Bank MasterCard.
What is considered unique about this product, is that there is no need to carry an additional piece of plastic in your wallet.
Among the exciting features of this product is the fact that the first two lounge visits per year are free, compliments of Standard Bank. Clients will only have to pay the direct cost of the 3rd lounge visit per annum.
Convenient for download, patrons can “ download the Lounge Key app on their smartphones to stay up to date in terms of lounge availability at airports, specific terms that might apply to certain lounges, whether they allow kids and how many guests are allowed for each Lounge Key member.
I am finally very proud to also announce that Standard Bank has secured this costly lounge at Eros for the exclusive comfort of our Prestige and Private Bank clients. Our clients are welcome to relax here and enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks before they depart on a domestic or regional flight,” exudes Du Plessis.
The bank promised that this is the beginning of more value we intent bringing to our clients, and the special way in which Standard Bank wishes to show appreciation to clients.
