With the year having been a painful yet beautiful journey thus far, it is only right to end it off with an event that will touch the heart, mind and body. Song Night earlier this week announced that it would be hosting its final concert for the year. The concert will revisit its home, Warehouse Theatre on 31 October as from 19h30 for a fee of N$ 80.
Aiming to inspire the public, the concert will have its last instalment with a line up featuring never-heard before voices and a few favourite returnees.
Song Night founder Lize Ehlers shares that performances which promise to deliver goose bumps vocals from talents such Kafifi, Dwayne, Herman, BnT Music, Scharlarco, KeyNote, Vega, CStar are also to be expected during the concert.
“Namibia has incredible talent and we will continue to mentor and nurture these home grown voices with the help of our project partners” she said.
Song Night since its inception has offered a free platform for amateur singers to perform on a live stage aided by the Namibian songstress, Ehlers.
On previous occasions, Ehlers has praised the platform for its ability to birth professional artists and its economic contribution to our nation as it has launched various careers of performing artists who are actually making money as well as are providing and contributing to the Namibian economy.
