In-form Brave Warriors midfielder Deon Hotto calls on the nation to fill up the majestic Sam Nujoma Stadium as they embark upon the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualification against Zambia in Group K tomorrow, 16h00.
Hotto, who in top form at the moment recently moved from Bloemfontein Celtic to Bidvest Wits in South Africa’s Premier League and reveals that he will be ready to fight on Saturday.
“It’s not only our desire to qualify for the 2019 AFCON but of course of the whole nation and so we will be ready to fight it on the pitch against Zambia. We have played them so many times in recent years and they are very stubborn. I feel good about myself and these guys and that same Hotto who had a great start to the season will show up on Saturday”, Hotto states confidently.
The former African Stars player adds that public support will be key in their quest to win their second game of Group K, after losing the first one away at Guinea Bissau last year.
“We need our comrades, our compatriots to fill up the Stadium and push us to victory on Saturday. We wear the national colors with pride and when you have so many people behind you that extra gear just appears and you surprise even yourself, so we really need our people to come and be with us on Saturday as the 12th man”, DH as Hotto is known, says.
Namibia and Zambia are on zero points in Group K after losing by the same 1-0 score line away to Guinea Bissau and at home against Mozambique, respectively, in June 2017.
Match- day entry tickets are on sale for N$ 50 on Computicket outlets at Shoprite and Checkers stores countrywide as well as at Football House in Katutura.
