President Hage Geingob has recalled four diplomats from their postings, The Patriot can reveal.
They are Grace Uushona(Angola), Frieda Ithete(France), Leonard Nambahu(Zambia) and Jerobeam Shaanika(Cuba).
The quartet, according to officials in the presidency, received their letters of recall last week.
Preliminary information indicate that former presidential press secretary Albertus Aochamub will replace Ithete in France while former National Council speaker Asser Kapere will head the Namibian mission in Washington that was left vacant by Martin Andjaba.
Current Home Affairs and Immigration permanent secretary Patrick Nandago is said to be on his way to Angola as Head of Mission.
Andjaba is the current Minister of Presidential Affairs.
It is widely expected that this recall of at least 14 ambassadors will be the most wide ranging since Geingob took office..
