A Social media lifestyle is not always a façade

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard it said that people fake their lifestyles on social media.

I mean, there are people who genuinely live the life they portray, on the internet.

People should not be limited to displaying what they have on the internet if that is what they want to do. Everyone has a choice, why do those that don’t show off feel so pressed by those who do?

Always claiming that you do not care about a social media stunner’s lifestyle but you always have their name in your mouth.

Snotty comments such as ‘oh she or he shows off too much,’ and ‘the life they’re living isn’t even real’, but why are you even the judge of someone else’s life?

How on earth do you wake up and decide that someone else’s life is not all that, just because most probably your own is in shambles.

Instead of going around saying things like ‘oh all she shows off with are clothes which she borrows from her friends,’ or ‘she flew to Dubai because someone’s father paid for her trip’ or ‘that he drives a GTI because he sold himself to an old white man that paid him for sexual services’ try and find something else to do with your life.

Watch TV, read a book or even better work harder so you can also afford a lifestyle for yourself and stop being bothered by how others use their money.

Your lack of actually believing that people can in reality work hard to buy their own clothes, pay their own trips to outside countries and buy themselves cars is going to leave you unfocused.

Keep in mind that there are a few people that stunt on the internet for a reason. They do it as a form of generating more money for themselves by being social media influencers who are not afraid to show off what they have. They do so to benefit more regardless of what people would whisper under their breath.

It’s a complex thing to understand because they are more concerned with getting their money than they are with keeping their eyes on those that do not hustle for a flexible life.
This is not to say that there aren’t those that you may personally know who fake it but for those who you do not know nor have solid information on, it’s something you should not discuss.

We all move at different paces and some are way ahead of others, some become successful thus the lifestyle you see. So stop acting as if a great expensive lifestyle is not attainable.

It is perfectly fine if you do not want to show off on social media it is not as if those who can honestly afford luxuries spend their time thinking about how people pretend to live.

The sooner we as humans realise that people are allowed to be who they want to be without being forced to compress themselves just to stroke another person’s negative ego, the better.

There are people who have money and they spend it how they want. So build your sorry annoying butt a bridge and get over it
