With the first Kasi Vibe having been a success, the second volume of it will be taking place this coming Friday and Saturday at the Sam Nujoma stadium.
Kasi Vibe which is an initiative created by Namibian youth encourages the production and distribution of local talent, goods, services and products, and thereby promote development in Namibia.
The event will for a second time bring back this platform so that more upcoming businesses can exhibit their work.
Kasi Vibe which is not seen by many as just another local Kasi block party, has created a market within a market for all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start up entrepreneurs.
The first volume of Kasi Vibe saw about 2000 people attending the event, however this time around the organisers intend on doubling the figures as promotion about the event was better planned in comparison to the first volume.
Bomba Shiguedha who is part of the organising team highlighted that more businesses have signed up for stalls this time around and that they now have corporates on board.
“Corporates such as Multichoice Namibia and SSC Namibia are among those on board and special prices from them can be won during the event”.
In addition Shiguedha thanked previous exhibitors and the new exhibitors as they are the ones that helped shape the dream of the Kasi Vibe event.
Kasi Vibe is hosted on a quarterly basis. Children under the age of 8 enter for free and a kiddie’s corner will be made available for children.
Entrance tickets can be bought online from Antonio’s arts, online at www.today.com.na or at the gate for N$30 as from 10h00. Camping chairs are welcomed.
