MultiChoice Namibia (Pty) Ltd recently became a member of Team Namibia, in support of the national movement aimed at mobilising Namibian consumers to buy local as well as driving the promotion of the production of quality local products and services.
“Since the launch of the joint venture between MultiChoice and Kalahari Holdings nearly a quarter of a century ago, the leading video entertainment provider built a strong track record of Namibian operations. MultiChoice Namibia (MCN) received its transmission licence on 16 December 1991 and subsequently began broadcasting from Windhoek via terrestrial transmission, which soon expanded to 23 transmission sites across the country,” Multichoice said in a statement this week.
In terms of its national footprint, MultiChoice Namibia currently operates from two offices in Windhoek as well as branches in Ongwediva and Swakopmund. The network is supported by 13 agents, 115 accredited installer companies and a robust network of Namibian retailers countrywide.
